**Public Bio:** Known to most by his last name, Prof. Ssnaerengi Selvig is a Mind worth listening to.   In life, his status as a leading sociologist/historian and pillar of the Hetherovon academic community (and, of course, his great fame amongst the general populace) served him well as one of the leading proponents of the Contingency in its early stages. His decision to join the First Cohort garnered great public support—and especially persuaded those with ethical objections to accept the program. As a Mind, he perpetuates this legacy of communication through control of The Peak, a state-of-the-art communications complex capable of sending and receiving messages across almost all frequencies.  Some may find his lofty ideals and social mystique alluring; others may find his personality a little less palatable. Either way, there is very little chance his words won’t reach your ears.
