**Public Bio:** With just forty three years of life Sscethelyne Thassil Hethesyethe reshaped the higher education of Yerss, a system crumbling under a storied history and an exploding population, to be able to meet the needs of the city. She was a public servant possessed of intellect to grasp the deficiencies of the system, the political genius to cut through the taboos surrounding it and the vision to imagine the solutions needed. A quiet, softly spoken woman, hers was a life cut too short, a life devoted to public service. She casts a long shadow for any Mind to step into.
