**Public Bio:** Lourien, Charagaae, Hissnael, Jorvičas, and Racharuina Parchas, collectively known as Dr Parchas et al. or the Parchas System, are a system best known for their major contributions towards the mind-imaging technology at the heart of Contingency, alongside their more general research on consciousness. They are generally physically unremarkable, except for their prosthetic left lesser hand, which has been significantly tinkered with.
